Greenhorn

That's exactly what I am at this blogging thing.....a greenhorn. Listen, I'm an architect. I like to draw and create cool buildings. I don't write particularly well unless it's dry project specs at work. I'm also an unashamed conservative. And there are plenty of other more talented conservatives bloggers in the blogosphere that do this for a living.

I'm not one of them.

So for visitors that might stumble onto the Bridge, I hope you find a pretty normal husband and father, approaching middle age, deeply concerned about what's happened in this country the past 10 months and where our country appears to be headed. The biggest goals of this adventure are to try and educate a person or two about what this country is up against and to let people know that you are not alone in the issues you're facing as as result of this economy nor are you alone maybe in having that feeling in your gut that something is seriously wrong with what's been happening in our country since last September.

I started another blog about 18 months ago and it lasted all of a week. Frankly it was more fun to participate and comment on other blogs without the pressure of daily posts of insightful and pithy commentary. Well..... a lot has changed in the past 18 months now that we have elected our first Marxist president. I'm less worried about creating pithy and insightful commentary and more worried about staying employed and providing for and keeping the family safe. I also need to keep the family sane and my nightly rants at the dinner table with my wife and 9 and 7 years old are not necessarily healthy and nurturing for small kids.

So I created the Bridge as an outlet. A place to share insights. A place to vent. A place to bitch and moan.

And a place for hope.

Despite the fact that we appear to all be living through a bloodless Marxist coup, I'm confident that the people will resist and fight and take back our country. Face it. None of us have lived through anything remotely close to this. But the people are waking up and the resistance is building. We are slowly realizing that we cannot count on our congresscritters or the RNC or anyone in the GOP power structure for leadership or direction or resistance against the march of Marxism.

We are a ship without a captain.

Right now we're all greenhorns.
